HR Advisor

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our small and supportive team at Gleeson Recruitment Group. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in handling employee relations cases, absence management, and restructures, working closely with our HR Manager and administrative team.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage employee relations cases, including complex disciplinaries and grievances
- Lead on absence management cases, identifying trends and offering solutions
- Support restructures and consultations, working with line managers to implement effective solutions
- Visit sites to identify employee issues and work with line managers to develop effective solutions
- Update and amend contracts, write policies, and assist with recruitment
- Work with the administrative team to maintain employee databases and take notes at meetings and hearings
- Up-to-date employment law knowledge and CIPD Level 5 or willingness to work towards this qualification
- Experience in handling long-term sickness and absence cases, as well as working with managers to tackle absence problems
- Strong communication and coaching skills, with the ability to work with line managers to develop effective solutions
