Job Description: Social Care Expertise Practitioner

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced Social Care Expertise Practitioner to join our team in Hillingdon. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a complex caseload, demonstrating expertise in social work practice, and collaborating closely with young people to co-create their individual plans.

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality social work services. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the principles of social work and be able to apply them effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a complex caseload, including safeguarding adults.
  • Demonstrate expertise in one or more areas of social work practice.
  • Take responsibility for regular, effective supervision from an appropriate Social Worker.
  • Demonstrate awareness and compliance with required Standards, including the Social Work Professional Capabilities Framework.
  • Clearly report and record judgments, decisions, and analysis using the appropriate system.
  • Act as Deprivation of Liberty (DOLS) Best Interest Assessor, following appropriate training and with a minimum of 1 year post-ASYE practice experience.

Requirements:
  • A professional Social Work qualification or equivalent.
  • A commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI).
  • Ability to make Reasonable Adjustments for disabled applicants.

Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, based on experience.
