As a Legionella Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive risk assessments of water systems to identify and mitigate the risk of Legionella bacteria.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting detailed Legionella risk assessments on various water systems, including domestic, commercial, and industrial settings.
  • Performing thorough surveys and inspections of water systems to identify potential sources of Legionella risk.
  • Producing clear, concise, and detailed reports outlining findings, risks, and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Ensuring all assessments and documentation comply with current legislation, including the Health and Safety at Work Act, COSHH, and the HSE's Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) L8.
  • Communicating effectively with clients, providing expert advice and guidance on maintaining Legionella control measures.
  • Conducting follow-up visits and reviews to ensure recommended actions have been implemented and are effective.
  • Participating in ongoing training to stay current with industry standards and best practices.
