Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and control food production and preparation for events, ensuring high-quality dishes and exceptional presentation.
  • Supervise a team of chefs on site, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Oversee ordering and inventory management to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste.
  • Ensure kitchen health and safety/hygiene standards are upheld, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and food development team to create innovative and delicious menus for events.
  • Lead events, managing logistics and coordinating with vendors to ensure smooth execution.
  • Collaborate with the events team to develop and implement event concepts and menus.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role with an event caterer, production kitchen, luxury hotel, or venue.
  • Previous experience with volume events is essential, with a focus on high-end restaurants and luxury events.
  • Excellent product and market knowledge of food trends and the London dining scene.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • A driver's license is preferable, with the ability to travel to events in and around London.
