We are seeking an experienced Consultant in Gynaecology to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a tertiary referral Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology (PAG) service, and contributing to the development of the department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide elective inpatient and outpatient care to patients referred with benign gynaecological conditions, ensuring timely diagnostic pathways for women with suspected cancer in liaison with the cancer diagnosis tracking team.
- Lead the PAG service, including contributing to audit and research, and providing expert clinical opinion and surgical skills in complex cases.
- Develop and deliver a rapid access service for suspected cancer within cancer wait times, and perform general gynaecological surgery independently.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth running of the service, and take on responsibility and show evidence of leadership.

Requirements- Full and specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) or eligible for specialist registration within 6 months.
- Holder of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), or evidence of within six months of award of CCT or equivalent by date of interview.
- MRCOG or appropriate specialist qualification.
- RCOG ATSM in Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology.
