Commercial Quantity Surveyor

An exciting commercial opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join Russell Taylor Group Ltd, a multi-disciplinary construction company based in the UK. This role will see you become an integral part of the commercial team, supporting Directors, Project Managers, and Quantity Surveyors in the management of contracts.
About the Role: The successful candidate will have a proven track record in quantity surveying, ideally with experience in the civils or construction sector. They will be a commercially astute professional, capable of managing multiple contracts in a fast-paced environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Holds a relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in quantity surveying or a related field.
- Experienced in working within a quantity surveying team.
- Able to prioritise tasks, manage workload, and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word, with experience in estimating software beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measuring and valuing works.
- Managing commercial aspects of applications, change control, and final accounts.
- Commercial management of sub-contractors.
- Conducting cost and value analysis.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £55,000-£70,000 per annum, based on experience.
