About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our UK Commercial Finance team at Future. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the team in producing monthly financial management accounts, performance analysis, and budgets and forecasts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the integrity of the UK Commercial Sales revenue, Cost of Sales and Overheads
  • Lead the team in producing monthly financial management accounts, performance analysis, and budgets and forecasts
  • Act as the finance business partner to the UK Group Commercial Director
  • Manage month end reporting & analysis, balance sheet controls for Future PLC UK Commercial
  • Be the key Finance business partner to the Head of UK Commercial and the lead sales directors

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant with greater than 1 year PQE (ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
  • Proven track record of managing, coaching and developing junior team members
  • Strong communication and business partnering skills with an aptitude for collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to understand, review and improve processes and controls
  • Comfortable driving change across multiple functions and stakeholders
  • Confidence to challenge the status quo, balanced with providing guidance to the business
  • Positive mindset, proactive and with a can-do attitude
