About the Role

The UK Commercial Finance Manager will play a key role in ensuring the financial integrity of the UK Commercial Sales revenue, Cost of Sales and Overheads. This includes leading the team in producing the monthly financial management accounts, performance analysis, and budgets and forecasts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage month end reporting & analysis, balance sheet controls for Future PLC UK Commercial
  • Be the key Finance business partner to the Head of UK Commercial and the lead sales directors
  • Lead the monthly management accounts process for UK Commercial revenue, weekly & monthly forecasting process and oversight of year end close
  • Manage and develop junior team members
  • Drive change across multiple functions and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant, with greater than 1 year PQE (ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
  • Proven track record of managing, coaching and developing junior team members
  • Strong communication and business partnering skills with an aptitude for collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to understand, review and improve processes and controls
  • Comfortable driving change across multiple functions and stakeholders
  • Confidence to challenge the status quo, balanced with providing guidance to the business
  • Positive mindset, proactive and with a can-do attitude
