Job Title: Production Manager, Sea

Job Summary:

RWS Global is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading the production and project management of RWS produced onboard entertainment products for our cruise line clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the production and project management of RWS produced onboard entertainment products
  • Uphold RWS and client brand standards
  • Support the continued innovation and operational efficiency of client rehearsal operations
  • Coordinate talent interviews, production calendars, and rehearsal schedules
  • Manage wardrobe transport logistics, correspondence, and allocation
  • Ensure cast allocations are shared with wardrobe and rehearsal studios are prepped and ready for Day 1
  • Coordinate production bible creation, Dropbox and Wrike cleanup, and travel to ships as necessary
  • Direct and coordinate team members for load in/load out of studio
  • Communicate with production team members and manufacturers throughout the design and build process
  • Manage timelines for new projects and cast changes, and keep Wrike projects up to date
  • Request and provide PO numbers for freelance creatives and suppliers
  • Prepare cast decks for onboard digital screens and arrange cast headshots
  • Work with Sr Manager, Studio Operations on scheduling in primary calendar
  • Manage show materials, props, and equipment
  • Research and procure bespoke and off-the-shelf stage props for new creative
  • Cost and provide sales quotes for clients for props, costumes, and rehearsal hire
  • Order rehearsal props and costume organisation at RWS UK Studios
  • Assist with replacement talent needs

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in the entertainment industry working in theatre, performance venues, or live entertainment settings (ideally with specific experience on cruise ships)
  • A minimum of 2 years in a management position, preferably within an entertainment setting
  • Proficient in Excel and MS Office applications
  • A flexible schedule allowing for approximately 35% international travel
