Maritime Law Professional Opportunity

Career Legal invites applications for a seasoned Shipping Paralegal to join their London-based team.

This role demands expertise in maritime law, with a focus on transactional shipping activities such as ship and aircraft sales, construction, and repair.

The chosen candidate will collaborate with Career Legal's global network of offices, handling intricate transactions worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare documentation for transactional shipping activities
  • Coordinate the collection and processing of KYC documents
  • Engage with external stakeholders to facilitate transactions
  • Create detailed transactional records
  • Conduct thorough research to guarantee compliance and accuracy
  • Undertake administrative tasks as required to support the team
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • LLB or GDL degree with a minimum 2:1 classification
  • Substantial experience as a Paralegal in shipping or associated fields
  • Able to frequently commute to the London office
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and interactions
  • Familiarity with foreign languages (a desirable attribute)
Compensation Package:

A competitive salary and attractive benefits package.

Estimated annual salary: £50,000 - £70,000, based on qualifications, experience, and industry standards.
