Back-end Engineer for Mental Health Screening App
3 weeks ago
We're on a mission to transform mental health care through technology, and we need talented individuals like you to make it happen As a back-end engineer at eMoodie Ltd., you'll contribute to the development of our flagship mental health app, eMoodie Minds. This game-changing platform will screen for symptoms of common mental health difficulties and provide targeted digital interventions to prevent burnout and enhance wellbeing.
Working closely with our team of experts, including clinical psychologists, data scientists, and UI/UX designers, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimising back-end services to support the app's core functionality. This includes ensuring seamless communication between the front-end and back-end systems.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, preferably with a focus on full-stack web and mobile applications, is necessary. Strong expertise in Flutter, specifically in developing scalable and high-performance mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms, is also required.
To succeed in this role, you'll need to demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, proficiency in Agile development methodologies, and the ability to mentor junior developers. Experience with integrating software and wearables, such as smartwatches, is a desirable bonus skill.
