Samuel Frank Associates is seeking a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Greater Manchester. The ideal candidate will have around 18-24 months of experience in mechanical design and be proficient in CAD software.

The Junior Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for producing design drawings, working under their own initiative, and having a working knowledge of regulations and codes of practices such as EN standards, CE marking, etc.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Competent in the use of CAD (AutoCAD or Solid Edge)
  • Design and detailing of both bespoke and standard equipment, ensuring quality standards/procedures are met
  • Commercial awareness to ensure design solutions are delivered in a cost-effective manner & design changes are managed in accordance with standard operation procedures
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK
  • Driving licence

Working hours: 8.30-5pm Monday – Thursday and 8.30-5pm Friday. Single-time overtime paid on all hours worked over 37 per week, regular overtime hours available.
