London, Greater London, United Kingdom The Royal British Legion Full time

Be a storyteller, an advocate, and a force for positive change as a Regional Public Relations Officer with The Royal British Legion.

As a key member of our dynamic Public Relations team, you'll shape the narrative of our revered organisation, leveraging your passion for storytelling and strategic communication to bring our mission to life.

Join us in making a difference to the lives of those who have served to keep us safe and protect our way of life.

As the linchpin connecting our mission to the public, you'll travel the South, engaging with stakeholders, representing The Royal British Legion, and immersing yourself in the heart of communities.

Your role involves crafting compelling stories that resonate across traditional and digital media platforms, securing significant coverage, and driving awareness and support for our noble cause.

Collaboration is key, and as part of our close-knit team, you'll work alongside passionate colleagues, contributing to the strategic vision set by the Regional Public Relations Manager.

What sets you apart? Your proven track record in media relations, public relations, or journalism, coupled with your adeptness in navigating MS Office and in-house databases.

Here at The Royal British Legion, we aim to support our people and their wellbeing, with a package including generous paid holiday allowance and pension scheme contributions, and a range of optional benefits and discounts.

You will be contracted to your home address, and you will perform most of your work remotely there using our collaboration tools to work with colleagues, with occasional travel for monthly team meetings.

For more detailed information about the role, please see our Vacancy Information Pack attached to our direct advert.
