About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Supervisor to join our team as an Operations Team Leader. As part of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading staff and resources, including vehicles, plant, equipment, and sub-contractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Lead staff to ensure accurate completion of relevant documentation, including driver defect reports, work schedules, time sheets, driver hours, and additional work instructions.">
  • Maintain high standards of contractor/client liaison.">
  • Induct new employees according to Company procedures and contract standards.">
  • Maintain all records and systems for effective contract operation.">
  • Deputise for Contract Supervisor as required.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • Hold a valid UK Driving licence and LGV Licence.">
  • Experience of stock control and related issues.">
  • Be a team-player.">
  • Ability to delegate, train, lead, and monitor workforce.">
  • Experience of planning workload, holidays, and scheduling.">
  • Basic knowledge of Health and Safety Policy & Procedures.">
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including IT.">
