Role Overview
Excelerate360 is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Data Centre Engineer to join our team. As a Mobile Data Centre Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of services to our clients, including lifecycle support, managed data centre services, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing lifecycle support for data centre equipment and connectivity, including auditing, installation, moves, changes, relocation, decommissioning, and disposal.
- Delivering managed data centre services, including data centre migration, capacity management, rollout, and deployment.
- Working on infrastructure projects, including structured cabling, rack deployment, and aisle containment, as well as wireless networking.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in data centres and with critical infrastructure.
- Ability to work unsociable hours and weekends, as required.
- Proficient in Microsoft packages, particularly Excel.
- Ability to think on your feet and work independently.
- Hold a full UK driving licence and experience in driving a van.
