We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our Regional Fundraising team as a Community Fundraising Ambassador. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer's Society in Northamptonshire.
Your primary responsibility will be to engage with our supporters in the local community, building brand awareness and inspiring people to make a difference in the lives of those affected by dementia. You will have the opportunity to attend events, manage collections, participate in cheque presentations, and run information stands, among other activities.
As a Community Fundraising Ambassador, you will gain valuable insights into dementia while contributing to the fundraising efforts that support individuals living with and affected by the condition. You will receive training and support from a Role Manager and be connected to a friendly and passionate team of Regional Fundraisers.
With over 5,800 people living with dementia in Northamptonshire, your role will be instrumental in connecting with the community, raising vital funds, and increasing awareness of our cause. You will be part of a dedicated team that provides Help and Hope to those in need.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with local community supporters to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's Society
- Attend events, manage collections, and participate in cheque presentations
- Run information stands and engage with the public to promote our cause
- Work closely with the Regional Fundraising team to achieve fundraising goals
- Provide support and guidance to new supporters and volunteers
As a Community Fundraising Ambassador, you will gain valuable experience in fundraising, community engagement, and event management. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills in communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. Our team is passionate about making a difference in the lives of those affected by dementia, and we are looking for like-minded individuals to join us.
