Skilled Aircraft Fitter

Guidant Global Careers is seeking a skilled Aircraft Fitter to join our team at the prestigious Broughton site, collaborating with Airbus, the world's largest aircraft manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and fit aircraft wings, ensuring precision and quality.
  • Conduct repairs on metallic and composite materials, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Work in confined spaces or at heights, requiring flexibility and adaptability.

Shift Options:

  • Double Days: Week 1 - 06:00 to 13:10 pm, Week 2 - 13:30 pm to 20:40 pm (Monday to Friday)
  • Nights: 20:45 pm to 06:00 am (Monday to Thursday)

Requirements:

  • Completed Aerospace or Engineering Apprenticeship qualification.
  • Experience in manufacturing or engineering roles, preferably in a similar field.

About the Role:

As a Skilled Aircraft Fitter, you will play a crucial role in assembling wings for Airbus commercial aircraft, including the A320 and A330 families, and the cutting-edge A350XWB planes. You will engage in essential and challenging work, working with technically intricate components that define the aircraft's aerodynamic performance and deliver eco-efficient solutions.
