Site Hygiene and Quality Assurance Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Hygiene and Quality Assurance Lead to join our team at Major Healthcare in Burton-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person with progression opportunities.

This role is critical in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, quality, and safety are achieved and maintained.

  • Permanent position with growth opportunities.
  • Various shifts available: 11ph – 40 hours a week – £31,428.80
  • 33 days holiday including bank holidays.
About the Role:

This role requires someone who is passionate about maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and housekeeping across the site. As a Site Hygiene and Quality Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for supervising direct reports, ensuring team structure is fit for purpose.

You will deliver training and development to direct reports, ensuring necessary skills are in place. Key responsibilities include health & safety compliance, team supervision, and performance management.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Health & Safety Compliance:
  • Ensure a safe working environment in accordance with HSWA and COSHH regulations.
  • Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and housekeeping across the site.
  • Ensure designated areas are cleaned to required standards, meeting both company and customer expectations.
  • Team Supervision & Development:
  • Supervise direct reports, ensuring team structure is fit for purpose.
  • Deliver training and development to direct reports, ensuring necessary skills are in place.
  • Performance Management:
  • Plan and deliver hygiene budgeted costs, including labor and materials.
  • Monitor quality and adherence to Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP).
