About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Disabilities Support Worker to join our team at Hightown Housing Association. As a Learning Disabilities Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with learning disabilities to lead fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support with daily living activities, including eating, drinking, and personal hygiene
  • Support individuals to engage in activities they enjoy, such as arts and crafts, cooking, and social events
  • Assist with medication management and administration
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals
  • Contribute to a supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding
Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with individuals with learning disabilities
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive environment
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly rate of £12
  • Generous annual leave allowance of 33 days per year, rising with service
  • Monthly attendance bonus of 1.25% on top of salary
