Job Title: Learning Disability Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Disability Support Worker to join our team at SweetTree Home Care Services. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients with learning disabilities and autism.

About the Role:
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Support individuals with medication administration and medical appointments
  • Encourage community engagement and participation through outings and activities
  • Provide one-on-one support in clients' homes, promoting independence and well-being
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 months experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviors and provide a safe and supportive environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
