About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Team Leader to lead our team of test technicians. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing a team of 8 direct reports, allocating resources, and forecasting requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Test Team: Manage a team of 8 test technicians, providing guidance and supervision.
- Resource Planning: Forecast resource requirements, allocate resources, and liaise with stakeholders.
- Project Delivery: Deliver multiple projects concurrently, working alongside project managers as necessary.
- Test Activities: Lead and deliver test activities, ensuring technology is delivered effectively and efficiently.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the process of continuous improvement, seeking feedback from stakeholders.
Requirements
- Leadership Experience: Previous experience leading a team of technicians.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of electronic systems, including mechanical and electrical principles.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with ability to capture information quickly and accurately.
- Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills, able to engage with customers and stakeholders.
- Time Management: Good time management and attention to detail, maintaining high production standards.
