Job Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Patient Dining team as a Ward Host/Hostess. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide menus, take orders from patients, and support with dietary and allergen queries.
  • Prepare and deliver refreshments and meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
  • Clear down ward areas and wash up dirty dishes, ensuring the kitchen is prepared for next service.
  • Liaise with ward staff to ensure patients' needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Offer outstanding customer service by prioritizing patient needs.
  • Awareness of food and hygiene standards.
  • Passionate about patient care, with effective communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure, individually and as part of a team, with a flexible approach.
  • Confident working in a hospital environment, with awareness of patients' varying needs.
