About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our team in Worcester, providing education and care to young children with special needs. As a Key Person, you will be responsible for observing, assessing, and planning to support individual child development. You will also contribute to the planning and implementation of activities that meet the needs of children, working closely with the Centre Manager/Deputy Centre Manager and other staff members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with families and professionals linked to Key Children.
  • Conduct regular observations and assessments to inform teaching and learning strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement activities that meet the needs of children.
  • Provide ongoing support to parents/carers to help them understand and provide for their child's play needs.

Requirements:
  • Able to communicate effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and practices.
  • Qualifications in Childcare and Education (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Experience working with children with special needs.
