Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Procurement Specialist.
This role is responsible for ensuring the seamless supply and delivery of bespoke parts and components to support production and repair teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and inventory targets.
- Liaise with suppliers to manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure materials are available on time.
- Monitor stock levels and optimize production efficiency by managing inventory.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to forecast material requirements and adjust planning as needed.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Identify potential supply chain risks and implement contingency plans to avoid disruption.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, materials, and suppliers.
- Proven experience in procurement in a mechanical manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of production planning, materials management, and inventory control.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to build strong supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in using ERP/MRP systems for planning and procurement.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
