Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Support Specialist to join our team at Shonacareltd. As a key member of our care services, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional personal care to clients within their own homes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Delivering High-Quality Care: Administer medications as prescribed, support clients in accessing community resources, and prioritize social support to clients at any time of day.
  • Shift Management: Take charge of the shift while on duty and ensure seamless delivery of care services.
  • Effective Communication: Maintain open communication with other professional staff to implement effective care plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualification: Hold a relevant qualification such as SVQ2, HNC in Health and Social Care, or equivalent.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Driving License: Possess a valid driving license and access to a vehicle is required.
  • Right to Work: Provide proof of right to work in the UK.
  • PVG Registration: Satisfy requirements for Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) application and register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within six months of commencement.

Salary: We offer an attractive salary ranging from £25,000 to £35,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role and the demands it places on our Senior Care Workers.
