Job Title: Motor Vehicle Technician

We are seeking a skilled Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team at Pybus Recruitment Ltd. Our client is a leading independent global automotive distributor and retailer, and we are looking for a talented individual to work with them in their premium and luxury dealership in Bournemouth.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Carry out vehicle maintenance and repair tasks
  • Utilize technical knowledge to diagnose and resolve faults
  • Test and inspect vehicles to identify areas for improvement
  • Suggest and implement process improvements
  • Work on electrical and mechanical systems
  • Inspect components for wear and tear
  • Repair and replace parts
  • Check vehicle subsystems
  • Liaise with customers as necessary
  • Support other technicians in the workshop
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of modern diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to work to the highest quality standards
  • Excellent team player and communication skills
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping
  • Prior experience of working to efficiency targets
  • A full UK driving license
  • Experience within a main automotive dealer preferable but not essential
  • VOSA approved MOT tester an advantage but not essential
  • Must hold Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair NVQ or equivalent
