Job Summary:

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Coordinator to join our team on a fixed-term contract basis. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, evaluating supply options, and providing exceptional procurement services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interface with various functions to plan and prioritize supply activities.
  • Review planned orders and create requisitions for raw materials.
  • Support the Procurement Manager with all procurement functions.
  • Manage UK Extrusion procurement, including forecasting and S&OP processes.
  • Track order acknowledgments, prepare shortage and backlog reports, and provide visibility of potential interruptions to internal customers.
  • Track orders and confirm system lead times, delivery dates, and costs.
  • Review and update purchase orders until they are closed.
  • Ensure orders adhere to supplier agreements and contracts, reporting non-conformances.
  • Assist finance and logistics staff in resolving reception and invoice discrepancies.
  • Identify opportunities to achieve efficiencies and implement actions.
  • Control inventory levels versus budget.

Requirements:

  • Experience in using advanced Excel.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with great time management.
  • Fantastic communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to build sustainable and productive relationships with suppliers.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
