Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated SEMHA Support Specialist to join our team at a partner school in Manchester.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. As a SEMHA Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing individualized assistance to students, helping them develop emotional regulation and coping strategies, and contributing to creating a positive, nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • One-on-One Support: Provide tailored support to students with SEMHA needs, focusing on their unique challenges and goals.
  • Emotional Guidance: Help students develop essential life skills, such as emotional regulation, self-awareness, and effective communication.
  • Behavioural Support: Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to implement evidence-based strategies that promote positive behaviour and engagement.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and making data-driven decisions to inform instruction.
