Business Partnering Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Business Partner to join our National Markets Finance team in London. As a Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting the team and providing financial analysis to enable a better understanding of the reported US GAAP results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide finance function support and financial analysis to the National Markets division.
  • Financial analysis to enable a better understanding of the reported US GAAP results for both underwriting and services.
  • Produce regular KPIs and associated analysis in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • Assist Head of Finance with commentary for Board reporting and planning analysis.
  • Support the business in their planning process, including written strategic business plans and GAAP planning.
  • Assist each of the National Markets regions with relevant support and data ahead of each reporting and planning cycle.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical mind-set and excellent excel skills.
  • Experience of working in the non-life insurance industry.
  • Understanding of technical insurance accounting skills.
  • Ability to work closely with a broad range of partners.
  • Desire to learn and progress in the organisation.
  • Pro-active nature with the ability to engage with team members of varying levels.
  • Reliability and self-responsibility to respond in a timely fashion to business requests.
