About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our team at Sunbelt Rentals Careers. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment maintenance and repair processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of technicians to maintain and repair equipment, ensuring all targets are achieved and customers are satisfied with the service.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the workshop, including auditing and record-keeping.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the training department to ensure technicians have the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure all relevant personnel are up-to-date with company policies and procedures.
  • Prioritize the repair of equipment scheduled for hire or in high demand.
  • Manage spares and consumables inventory.
  • Maintain calibration standards and records.
  • Ensure hires are dispatched on time and in good condition.
  • Deal with customer inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Accountable for spares stock and workshop compliance.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong background in workshop supervision, experience in managing a team, and a passion for customer service. You will be IT literate and have good communication skills. A qualification in NVQ Plant Maintenance Level 3 or equivalent is desirable.
