We are seeking an experienced pension professional to join our internal payroll team as Pension Team Leader. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in leading our pensions team and ensuring the smooth administration of our two employer pension schemes, NHS and NEST.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Trust's Pension Team, undertaking appraisals and absence management, as well as providing specialist Pension support.
  • Ensure the Trust's compliance with pension regulations at all times.
  • Implement new ways of working and ensure existing processes are fit for purpose.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex queries, establish best practice, and provide advice.
  • Make daily adjustments to plans and schedule to deal with unexpected organisational requirements while ensuring targets are met.
  • Forward plan the workload to meet the department's objectives and deadlines, considering a longer-term view for future changes in the Trust or department.
Requirements
  • Experience of working within a pensions or payroll environment.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team.
