Job Description

Grosvenor Casinos is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Team Leader to join our team at Huddersfield Casino.



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Food and Beverage Team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Ensure all departments are adequately resourced within budget and monitor performance through regular reviews and appraisals.
  • Assist in the training and induction of new team members and support the development of existing team members through training and coaching.
  • Support the Food and Beverage Manager in reviewing performance, monitoring targets, and escalating concerns to the Management Team.
  • Actively promote new business and suggest initiatives to achieve objectives.
  • Be responsible for your development needs by highlighting areas for further training or support.
  • Be multi-skilled in other departments to ensure maximum efficiency and meet customer demands.

  • Be conversant with current promotions and products to ensure the best customer experience.
  • Proactively offer and provide a friendly, accurate, efficient, and prompt service of food and beverages.
  • Aware of daily, weekly, and monthly targets and ensure the Food and Beverage Team works to achieve these.
  • Actively promote the customer reward scheme.
  • Uphold the company's commitment to the protection of young and vulnerable people.


Shareholder Expectations

  • Be accountable for all handling of monies and electronic point of sale responsibilities.
  • Have the required level of Product Knowledge of our Food & Beverage Offers.
  • Have the required level of knowledge of all equipment within the Food and Beverage Department.
  • Ensure the replenishment of all stock is complete.
  • Support the Food and Beverage Manager to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.
  • Ensure the Department has accurately accounted for stocks, spillages, and wastages.
  • Comply with all regulatory provisions in respect of sanitation and food safety.
