The Opportunity

This rare opportunity has arisen for a Technical Director to join our team. Due to our continued growth and success, we require a highly skilled and experienced professional to drive technical excellence and lead our technical teams.

Job Description

The Technical Director will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive innovation, maintain quality standards, and promote technical excellence. This role requires a deep understanding of ventilation systems and associated products, as well as strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures to maintain high-quality standards throughout the business

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction

• Manage the R&D department to identify and deliver ways of improving and optimizing existing products

• Act as a technical advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance and solutions

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in manufacturing, actively seeking opportunities to leverage new technologies or methodologies to improve manufacturing processes

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 10+ years relevant senior-level technical/design experience from within a transferable role with high-level industry/market knowledge and awareness

• Demonstrable technical bias with a proven track record in successfully leading technical teams and delivering complex projects

• Excellent understanding of industry regulations and advances in new products, brands, technologies, and systems

• Experienced line manager, able to reward and develop department members, supporting and empowering staff to best of their abilities
