Building Officer

Reed is seeking a skilled Building Officer to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage rent and service charge accounts, including calculating charges and monitoring payments.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of rent and service charges and rent collections.
- Support tenants with their financial obligations.
- Strong knowledge of financial management and accounting principles.
- Experience in a finance or rents & service charges role, preferably within a housing association or similar environment.
- Understanding of rent and service charge calculation, housing regulations, and financial management practices in the context of social housing.
- 28 days annual leave, plus bank holidays (pro rata for part-time).
