Job Description Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Early Years team as an Assessor. You will be responsible for training and assessing learners up to Level 3 in a workplace and classroom environment.

Key Accountabilities:
  • To assess learners up to Level 3 in a workplace and classroom environment;
  • To support learner progress through assessment and curriculum delivery;
  • To ensure timely achievement of courses and promote safeguarding of children and young persons;
Person Specification:
  • Assessor qualification (TAQA/A1 or equivalent) or commitment to work towards;
  • Industry relevant qualifications to a minimum of level 3 (NVQ or equivalent), level 5;
  • GCSE grade C (4/5) in English and Maths;
  • Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and learning environments;
  • Up-to-date occupational experience;
  • Full current driving licence, use of a car and insurance for business purposes;
  • Enhanced DBS check;
