Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Public Rights of Way Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in public rights of way work and help deliver a statutory service.

The successful candidate will assist in the technical delivery and support of the PROW Section, processing legal orders and fee-earning work such as land charge search responses. The role involves responding to enquiries, supporting enforcement activity, processing financial undertakings, database input, land registry searches, and service checks.

This vital support will ensure that the Council meets its statutory duties to keep the Definitive Map and Statement under review and up to date, and maintain the recorded public right of way network to a safe and satisfactory standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process legal orders and fee-earning work.
  • Respond to enquiries and provide support for enforcement activity.
  • Process financial undertakings, database input, land registry searches, and service checks.
Requirements:
  • An ability to undertake training, learning, and development as required.
  • Good ICT skills.

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a hybrid role, you will have opportunities for home and office working, as well as surveying and inspection work on site as required.
