About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join our team at Signaloid. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for aligning development and product release activities, identifying and eliminating roadblocks, and summarizing status and dependencies between deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Align Development and Product Release Activities: Work closely with engineering teams to ensure that development and product release activities are aligned with company objectives.
  • Identify and Eliminate Roadblocks: Proactively identify and eliminate roadblocks that may hinder the progress of engineering teams.
  • Summarize Status and Dependencies: Summarize the status of deliverables and dependencies between them to ensure that teams are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Proactively Identify Misalignments: Proactively identify misalignments between team activities and company-wide objectives.
Long-term Responsibilities
  • Work with Leadership Team: Work closely with the leadership team to define a delivery strategy and coordinate long-term engineering deliverables.

Requirements
  • Education: Undergraduate or master's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with C/C++, Python, Go, and JavaScript at a level sufficient to judge the difficulty of implementing a given task.
  • Project Management Experience: Previous experience coordinating engineering projects with a rigorous development cycle.
  • Git and GitHub Experience: Previous experience with Git and GitHub and a deep knowledge of the project management tools provided by GitHub.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to write a brief cover letter and communicate effectively with team members.
