About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team at the CareTech Group. As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people with complex needs.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for leading shifts, deputising for the Registered Manager, and ensuring that our team of Residential Care Workers are up to date with all mandatory learning and assisting with their individual development.

You will also be responsible for communicating with the on-site team, raising awareness with regards to individual care plans, and maintaining accurate written records in logs, continuation sheets, and files.

In addition, you will contribute to team and staff meetings, facilitate good communication and staff development, and provide support and care to the young people within our services.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people and has a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead shifts and deputise for the Registered Manager
  • Ensure Residential Care Workers are up to date with mandatory learning
  • Communicate with on-site team and raise awareness of individual care plans
  • Maintain accurate written records
  • Contribute to team and staff meetings
  • Provide support and care to young people
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a full UK driving licence, a desire to earn a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent, and 12 months senior experience working in a Residential setting.
