Job Overview

We are seeking a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join our acute team at The Princess Royal Hospital in Telford. This developmental position offers the perfect stepping stone between Band 5 and Band 6, providing training and support to develop leadership and clinical skills.

A postgraduate qualification in dysphagia is essential due to the primary caseload consisting of patients with dysphagia. Our team provides access to experienced Band 7 and Band 8a clinicians for further skill development, as well as a supportive Team Manager.

Working in Acute Care

The role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams across the hospital and community to provide high-quality care to patients with complex needs. You will have opportunities to develop your skills in organizing and creating training, supervision, and instrumental swallowing assessment.
