We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our specialist team as a Stop Smoking Healthcare Advisor in Dudley.

This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with a wide range of people, ideally experienced in a caring setting, to support them on their journey to stopping smoking and enjoying better health.

You will be working in a specialist team that offers innovative, effective solutions across many areas of public health, addressing health inequalities within the community and working with vulnerable groups who may sometimes struggle to access good quality healthcare.

Your role will involve managing relationships with other healthcare professionals and embedding these services into all areas of healthcare.

In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a life-changing difference to individuals and families, while also being part of a growing organisation that changes many lives throughout communities across the UK.

You will receive a personalised development plan which will include targeted, specific training in order to be the very best and most effective in your role.

The ability to drive is required for this position, and this is also a major career development opportunity as we are rapidly growing and investing heavily in this area of community healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support individuals on their journey to stopping smoking and enjoying better health
  • Work with a wide range of people in various settings within the community
  • Manage relationships with other healthcare professionals
  • Educate, influence and motivate others to make healthy lifestyle choices

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in a caring setting (desirable)
  • NCSCT qualification (or willingness to become professionally certified)
  • Ability to drive

Salary: £27,500 per annum (dependent on experience).
