About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Planning Director to lead our team in Cornwall. This senior leadership role presents an excellent opportunity to contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects, guiding our practice's future direction in the scenic Southwest region.

Our firm integrates planning, architecture, and landscape architecture to deliver seamless project management from concept to completion. Our diverse project portfolio includes high-end residential developments, commercial and tourism projects, luxury coastal properties, bespoke homes, and renewable energy developments.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead a team of professionals in planning and development
  2. Develop and implement planning strategies for our projects
  3. Collaborate with architects, landscape architects, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects
  4. Manage and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
Requirements
  1. MRTPI qualified
  2. 5+ years post-chartered experience in town planning
  3. Leadership experience, ideally in a team management role
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  6. Organised, flexible, proactive, and commercially minded
