Job Description: Community Substance Abuse Worker

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Community Substance Abuse Worker to join our team in Leeds. As part of our Forward Leeds service, you will work closely with local communities to increase awareness of substance use issues and provide support to those affected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and delivering community-based initiatives to raise awareness of substance use issues.
  • Providing one-to-one support to individuals struggling with substance use.
  • Collaborating with local organizations to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Experience in substance use support and education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferable).
