About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Medical Engineer to join our team at BWC Management Services Limited. As a Senior Medical Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and calibration of electro-medical equipment, including ventilators, anaesthetic machines, and other life support equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, repair, and commissioning of electro-medical equipment, including ventilators, anaesthetic machines, and other life support equipment.
  • Liaise with external contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and effective maintenance and repair of equipment.
  • Develop and implement test procedures to ensure safe and effective use of medical equipment.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Degree in electrical or electronic engineering or equivalent acceptable engineering/technical based qualification with relevant experience.
  • Substantial experience in maintenance, fault finding, and repair of electrical and electronic or mechanical and electromechanical medical equipment.
  • Experience in the use of computerised equipment management systems and electronic test and measurement equipment.
  • Knowledge of current health and safety legislation, including safe systems of work.
