We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Industrial Crane Specialist to join our team at JT Recruit Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for the unwrapping of all steel coils and ensuring they are allocated to the correct storage bays.

The Crane Operations Coordinator will be responsible for allocating material to specified jobs, feeding coils to the decoiling lines, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is carried out.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unwrapping of all steel coils and ensuring allocated to correct storage bays.
  • Allocation of material to specified jobs.
  • Responsible for the feeding of the coils to the decoiling lines.
  • Ensuring that all necessary paperwork is carried out.

Requirements:

  • Gantry Licence.
  • Understanding of Quality Management System IS09001.
  • Health and Safety awareness and knowledge of working in a heavy industrial environment.
  • Able to work to tight tolerances.
  • Able to work to target and schedules.
  • Manually handling materials.
  • Eye for detail and responsibility for quality.
  • Health and Safety Awareness.
  • Team Player.
  • Flexible.
  • Excellent Time Keeping.

About the Role:

This is a permanent position with a competitive pay rate of £12.70ph.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 8am until 6pm, with additional 12 hour shifts at the beginning and end of the month.
