The Role

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Management specialist to join our client's team. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for leading the inventory management activities across the company's global businesses. You will work closely with senior teams, including sales, purchasing, and finance, to optimize inventory levels.

Main Responsibilities

  • Prepare and report on monthly inventory segmentation and classification.
  • Coordinate and own supplier rescheduling actions.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews with account managers to identify non-moving and underutilized parts.
  • Collaborate with shared services to analyze and integrate tools such as the line of balance.
  • Effectively manage the Runners, Repeaters, Strangers, and Aliens process, setting target inventory levels.
  • Work with Key Account Managers to determine the accuracy and frequency of customer forecasts driving purchasing activity.
  • Control obsolete provisioning calculations and reporting.
  • Ensure supplier order books match advised demand profiles and stocking requirements by interacting with purchasing teams.

Candidate Profile

  • 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Expert-level skills in Excel and other relevant tools.
  • Preferably, a thorough knowledge of the company's product range.
  • Aerospace experience.
  • Highly effective communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a dynamic distribution and Supply Chain Management environment.
  • Good commercial acumen.
  • International operations experience.
  • Ability to travel to the US and Asia.
  • Degree-level education.
