The role of the Elderly Care Consultant at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust requires expertise in caring for elderly patients. The successful candidate will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and support surgical patients who are undergoing emergency laparotomy. Key responsibilities include providing expert clinical advice, supporting teaching and training, and contributing to postgraduate medical education. In addition, the post holder will lead the development of POP services and improve the quality of care for patients presenting with emergency laparotomy surgery.
