Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled RF Electromagnetics Expert to join our team at the Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE). As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for designing and developing RF systems for various applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physics or electrical engineering and experience in project delivery, stakeholder management, and product development. You will also possess excellent technical skills, with the ability to design and develop RF systems and components.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on unique scientific research that underpins the safety and performance of our defence programmes. You will have the chance to collaborate with like-minded individuals, develop your expertise, and contribute to the design of cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop RF systems and components for various applications
  • Lead project delivery teams and ensure successful project outcomes
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and engagement
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of pulsed power technologies and RF systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in project delivery, stakeholder management, and product development
  • Excellent technical skills in RF system design and development
