  • Address technical queries and disputes regarding contractor-supplied documentation with the Project Manager's assistance.
  • Monitor and ensure closure of actions related to construction safety risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Lead on construction-related issues.
  • Maintain daily diaries and regular photographs of works as a record of construction progress.
  • Manage safety, quality, resource, schedule, and cost objectives within the construction function to support the Project Manager.
  • Represent clients during construction and commissioning phases.
  • Directly manage contractors on site to ensure works meet quality, safety, and program requirements.
  • Prepare a Construction report section for inclusion in monthly project board reports.
  • Investigate and advise on HSE incidents, defining incident management processes.
  • Oversee application of HSE policy and procedures, challenging contractors where necessary to adhere to design, construction, HSE, and project management standards.
  • Manage day-to-day activities on site and define programs of works between contractors.
Requirements
  • Experience in Electrical or Civil Engineering/construction with relevant qualifications, leading projects during the delivery phase.
  • Preferably holding experience in constructing battery energy storage system assets and/or solar assets.
  • SMSTS Certification is ideal.
  • APM, Prince2, or equivalent Project Management Qualification is desired.
  • Familiarity with design developments, statutory regulations, codes of practice, and industry standards in relation to Construction.
  • IOSH or NEBOSH Qualified.
