Field Service Engineer

Enspec Power Ltd is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer - Renewable Energy to join our team.
This role involves the installation, maintenance and repair of power quality equipment, as well as the commissioning of new equipment, primarily at renewable energy sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical power systems, while providing excellent customer service and support.
As a Field Service Engineer - Renewable Energy, you will be required to possess excellent technical knowledge of electrical power systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems. You will also need to have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues, customers and external contractors.
In this role, you will be expected to:
- Undertake routine maintenance of electrical equipment and instrumentation in accordance with the planned maintenance schedule.
- Attend site independently as a representative of the company to carry out necessary tasks.
- Run analysis and carry out fault finding to detect and repair any electrical faults on equipment or instrumentation.
- Assist in producing the maintenance schedule for electrical equipment and instrumentation.
- Supervise external contractors and internal workers as required.
- Carry out all work within the agreed budgetary and time limits.
You will be based in Washington, UK, but will be required to travel extensively throughout the country. We offer a competitive salary of up to £38,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as flexible working hours and a supportive work environment.
