Job Summary
HFG is seeking a highly experienced Senior Claims Adjuster to join our Property team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing claims and providing expert advice to underwriters and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide feedback to underwriters and management on the structure of claim issues and related risk information to improve overall underwriting standards.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and assist underwriters and claims adjusters as needed.
- Manage claims within the parameters of our Claims Procedure Manual and adhere to Service Level Agreements.
- Participate in educational activities beneficial to the Property Claims Team and assist in the training of Claims Adjusters.
- Collaborate with industry experts, lawyers, and market peers to enhance our team's reputation in the claims market.
- Ensure fair treatment of customers and handle complaints in accordance with company policy.
- Undertake any additional ad hoc activities or project work as needed.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in US Property D&F Claims from an Open Market background.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
